I hope each of you had a great 4th of July holiday last week and was able to enjoy the freedoms that God has given us.
The BAU is starting to make plans for wood bat, coed, and a women’s league for this fall. We plan to start late August or early September. Please contact me and let me know which league(s) your church is planning to participate in this fall. For the coed and women’s league, you do not have to have a full team. We will match your players up with other players to field a team. Last year, all the ladies who played coed were intermediate to advanced players; no beginners. In the BAU, coaches and players are not limited to one league/division of play.
The BAU Coed softball age limit is 16 and up. The men will be required to use wood softball bats; the ladies may use wood or approved single wall aluminum bats.
The women’s and coed games will be played on Friday and/or Saturday nights. The men’s wood bat league will continue to be on Monday nights.
